About Elizabeth
Elizabeth McCarthy, LCPC
As a psychotherapist, I attend to the unique needs and goals of my clients using a strong collaborative and relational approach. I truly enjoy the process of getting to know each of my clients and am invested in their growth and well-being.
My training and experience give way to a deep interest in individual and personal growth and transition, family of origin issues, and relationship and communication difficulties. Additionally, I worked in the advertising and marketing fields for many years before becoming a therapist. My experience in the corporate world provides a firm foundation to support my clients in navigating the complex systems they work in and the relationships within them. Changing my own career reflects my affinity for exploring both career and life transitions. My approach is nonjudgmental, warm, and knowledgeable.
I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and earned my undergraduate degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.
